The application of eyelash extensions is a highly technical and meticulous
process, requiring well-trained professionals to safely perform the procedure

and use their products.
NovaLash purifies its
adhesives with no exposure to contaminants and do not contain any detectable
formaldehyde as manufactured and delivered in the bottle and is confirmed by
testing under EPA method. However, once the adhesive bottle is opened for use,
a slight amount of a fume may be produced. This is why bottom lashes are
taped down and client's eyes remain shut during the entire procedure. NovaLash cosmetics are all scientifically formulated,
ophthalmologist tested, and glycol and carbonate-free with many enhanced with
natural plant extracts, peptides and multi-vitamins to promote healthier
natural lashes. Glycols and carbonates break down the bond so it is strongly
recommended not to use products such as; mascaras, creams or makeup removers,
containing those ingredients.

NovaLash Lash Extensions are a glamorous new way
to extend the length and thickness of natural eyelashes, and are beautiful
alternative to the daily use of mascara. Each lash extension is a tapered
synthetic lash that is bonded to a single natural lash of your own, the final
result is a glamorous natural look that is difficult to detect even close up. A
full set of lash extensions look as if you were already wearing mascara.
NovaLash
lash extensions require minimal
monthly maintenance. First time NovaLash
appointments for a full set require two hours. Less time is required
for slightly enhancing natural
lashes. To maintain appearance of a full set of lashes; fills are
needed after 2-4 weeks based on your own natural lash growth cycle. Applying much longer extensions will
stress natural lashes and can cause natural lashes to shed prematurely.
Sensitive Bond Adhesive is used for putting lashes on the bottom lash line and for those
who are more sensitive. Sensitive Adhesive does not last as long as
Platinum Adhesive. When applied properly, lash
extensions will not harm natural lashes. The NovaLash application
technique allows natural lashes to grow and thrive with extensions. Each extension is adhered to a single natural lash in order to
prevent interruption of the lash growth cycle. It is recommended to use a
lash extension only slightly longer than your natural lashes.
When applying lashes to the
bottom lash line clients must keep their eyes open during attachment. Bottom lashes can be applied upon request.
Mascara is not recommended on NovaLash extensions and should only
be used when a touch-up is drawing near. When choosing to use mascara only water-soluble mascara can be
worn. Constant use of mascara may shorten the lifespan of NovaLash extensions.
Waterproof mascara will dissolve NovaLash adhesive. NovaLash glycol and carbonate-free mascara,
formulated for use on extensions; will not dissolve the adhesive.
Nightly
conditioning will maximize the life of the extensions.
NovaLash night time conditioning/cleansing pads will clean the
lashes of any makeup or debris, while moisturizing them to maintain
flexibility. Using a lash wand to comb the lashes free of tangles is also
recommended.
